This game focuses on nature vocabulary with four main sections. There is a nature vocabulary practice section and a nature spelling section. Then, there are nature games for conversation practice asking what things are, and games for listening practice. The question and answer games and grammar games are associated with the ESL Young Learners Curriculum - Unit 3.
The questions and answers for this game are as follows.
A: What's that?
B: It's a flower.
A: Is that a flower?
B: Yes, it is./No, it's not.
The spelling game will accept the vocabulary word as is, "flower", or with an article "a flower". Some items need the definite article "the".
There is some emphasis on usage of the definite vs. indefinite articles. Words like "sun" and "sky" need the definite article "the" in the grammar practice exercises.
In the grammar section there is a little emphasis placed on learning English punctuation, grammar rules, contractions and usage of commas.
